Buying or Selling Property?

We’re here to help

Edmonds Conveyancing has come a long way since its humble beginnings in one half of the garage of owners Amanda and Anthony Edmonds in 2004. Back then, our team consisted of one licensed Conveyancer, supported by one staff member.

Today, Edmonds Conveyancing has grown to be one of the largest conveyancing firms in the region, with offices in both Ballina and Lismore and a team of five licensed Conveyancers, supported by several specialist office staff.

In real estate, people often need to move fast to secure a sale. Edmonds Conveyancing has responded to this need by creating a service that is both prompt and highly responsive.

Whilst Edmonds Conveyancing has grown exponentially since its early days, their vision for delivering good old fashioned service remains, and it’s this warm professionalism coupled with efficiency that ensures clients return to them to do business, again and again. This approach has also resulted in their being awarded the Best Professional Service Award at the Ballina Shire Business Excellence Awards in 2008 and 2009, Winner Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW Presidents Award for Best Practice and Professionalism 2009 and finalist 2017, Lismore Chamber of Commerce – People’s Choice Award 2016 and Tanya Holmstrom finalist Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW CEO Award for Employee of the Year 2017.

Meet the team

Principal and Licenced Conveyancer, Amanda Edmonds

Amanda Edmonds has worked in the field of Conveyancing for almost 15 years, and has been at the helm of Edmonds Conveyancing since its inception in 2004. She attained her Licence qualifications by completing the Conveyancing Law and Practice Course at Macquarie University in 2003.

“People come to us because they value our expertise and professionalism. They come back to us because they know we are efficient and service orientated, whilst also being friendly and welcoming. We like to think that we’re like old friends; we are hospitable, approachable, and we stay in touch. We want people to say good things about us, and we go out of our way to deliver.”

Licenced Conveyancer, Anthony Edmonds

Anthony worked as a Building Certifier for 25 years before transitioning to conveyancing in 2013 when he concluded the Conveyancing Law and Practice course at Macquarie University. He attained his Conveyancing License in 2014.

“With our business continuing to grow, the change of career was a logical step to take. There are a lot of crossovers between my two professions, and the skills learned at the coal face of Building Certification are definitely an advantage in my new role. The best part of this job is the interaction with people, and it’s a real pleasure to help them through the purchase or sale process and to witness their delight when it all comes together at the end.”

Licensed Conveyancer, Tanya Holmstrom

Tanya is very much a ‘local’ having grown up and schooled in Ballina and worked most of her life in the field of property conveyancing in and around the Northern Rivers. She currently operates out of our Lismore office where she runs the majority of Edmonds Conveyancing’s Lismore Shire matters but also handles many state-wide transactions.

Tanya has over 20 years’ legal property experience and will admit that it’s the enjoyment she gets from positive interaction with clients that keeps her in the game. She resides in Wollongbar with her husband, Mitch and their only (and dearly loved) child, Buddy the Jack Russell.
