Preparing contracts

  • Order Council and land registry documents
  • Prepare sale contract in accordance with your instructions
  • Issue sale contract to your agent so they can start marketing your property.

Step 2
Before exchange

  • Prepare contract in accordance with sale agreement provided by the agent
  • Negotiate any changes
  • Organise signing of sale contract in readiness to exchange contracts
  • Receive buyers signed contract and organise exchange of contracts

Step 3
After exchange

  • Liaise with your lender to discharge mortgage
  • Organise settlement in electronic settlement workspace
  • Confirm settlement figures, settlement date and time.

Step 4
Completion day

  • Make sure you have moved out
  • Sign off and finalise the settlement
  • Distribute sale proceeds as requested
  • Advise the agent to release the deposit funds to the seller
